Why do People BULLOG?

Before judging the blogosphere, I decided I should become apart of the community to investigate the fact from bull, discover the ins and outs, and determine why some fail while others reach ridiculous amounts of fame. Don’t worry, I don’t sit around thinking about what I’m going to judge next, it’s just I was looking for a job and I got sidetracked-typical.

I came across the website 20 Something Bloggers today and suddenly came to the conclusion that I must be missing out on something my generation, Generation Y has mastered. Since I don’t have a job and my job-searching activity (today) consists of stumbling upon blogging websites, I thought what the hell, WHY NOT! I loved to write in college but not enough to join any writing clubs, write for the college newspaper, or anything productive that may have helped me land a job by now but, honestly, how much longer are newspapers going to stay in circulation? Plus with your own blog you don’t have to cut an article short because of advertisement space, you aren’t required to stay within restrictive lines, you’re not going to fail a class or get laid off, there are no deadlines, and…you can drink on the job. A pretty kick ass job if you ask me, especially in this rockin’ economy. Sure, there’s no money for bloggers like me but I think this could actually be a pretty legit job…or at least help pass the time I spend looking for a legit job.

Final ThoughtsàThis economy does not rock. In fact, all of the time I’ve spent looking for a job this summer could have been better spent UNDER a rock, blogging. For those of you who are a little bored with the blogging scene, check out http://www.stumbleupon.com/

Until my next log full of bull…
